Frankfurt, 17.09.—18.09.2025
Die University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt hosted the GJU Network Meeting in the area of nursing sciences.
It began with a welcome speech by representatives from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, including Prof. Dr. Carola Berneiser (Dean of the Department of Health and Social Work), and Nölle Ponasik from the International Office.
In several strategy sessions, key topics of cooperation were discussed, including:
• Status of the network and partner institutions,
• Curricular development and study semesters,
• Organization and implementation of internships
• Mobility formats such as Flying Faculty
Another focus was the joint preparation of the Germany Year for the first year of the GJU Nursing degree programme, which will begin its stay in Germany next fall. Both the study semester at a German university and the subsequent internship were discussed.
In addition to the substantive discussions, the meeting also provided space for bilateral talks, informal exchange and a guided tour of the Skills Labs at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
We would like to thank Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, in particular Prof. Dr. Miriam Peters for their hospitality, and everyone involved for the new impulses and ideas for the GJU Nursing degree programme.
