We had employed Mr. Motaz Tarawneh from the German Jordanian University as an intern at our construction site in Grenzach-Wyhlen from 01.09.16 to 18.01.17. Mr. Tarawneh was appointed as an assistant to construction management and to support the HSE manager. After a short training period, he worked on many of the tasks assigned to him independently and with great care, and very quickly became a valuable support for his colleagues on site. With the Grenzach-Wyhlen project, Mr. Tarawneh had the opportunity to become one of the largest and get to know the most complicated remediations of contaminated sites in Europe. For a student, as he confirmed to us, this was an important experience and a good addition to the teaching content of his studies. In this respect, I can say that his internship in our company is an asset for both sides and that we will gladly hire interns with comparable qualifications again.

We were very satisfied with our intern from GJU. She was motivated, courteous and professionally competent and quickly familiarized herself with the company. Thanks to her open, winning nature, she always had a good relationship with all colleagues and supervisors.

I would like to let you know that we had a great experience with the GJU students! We had 9 interns so far and they all performed beyond our expectations. They played a vital role in supporting us with challenging international projects. They took over responsibility very well we could rely on them in hectic times. We had a good personal relation with them and they were an interesting addition to the composure of our international team. They showed great motivation to help and did not hesitate to take over tedious or challenging tasks. I also believe that the job experience was quite useful for all of them to build the professional skills, to put their knowledge into practice and to get familiar with an international working environment.

Mr. S. did a very good job here in the electrochemistry group at Fraunhofer. Over time, he has also learned to independently recognize and explain complicated electrochemical relationships. Mr. Sweiss also presented his results with flying colors in several presentations to the electrochemistry group. He steadily improved his German language skills during his internship. In the beginning, he was still a bit shy in contact with his colleagues, but this settled down relatively quickly and he quickly became popular in the group. His always very friendly manner and his will to learn new things was noteworthy. All in all, we were very happy with him.

We were very satisfied with the student all round! I would rate him among the top 3 interns in the last 5 years. He was fast, flexible, thought things through, carried out his own tasks independently and was always motivated and integrated into the team. I can highly recommend him as an employee.

The interns at the German-Jordanian University are engaged and work on ongoing projects at BBK BAU GmbH. We are very satisfied and hope to have taught the students a few things about construction and architecture. We are also happy to accept a new intern for the Department of Architecture from August.

By now, we have already employed 5 students from German-Jordanian University as interns. In general, the experiences have been very positive. Most students are extremely committed and have a high level of motivation and a high thirst for knowledge. Some have good German language skills, others are employed in our English-language projects. All students are good team players and quickly find contact in the office.

Our experience with our former intern was very positive. According to information and details of the projects, our former intern handled all planning tasks excellently. His commitment and inventiveness always led to precise solutions. He worked freely and independently and enjoyed our complete trust. We also really appreciated his interpersonal skills.
