4th GJU Germany Meeting 2025

Magdeburg | On June 16 and 17, 2025, the 4th GJU Germany Meeting took place at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences – organised by the GJU Project Office.

The focus was on sharing challenges that GJU students face before, during and after their German Year. The aim was to work together to provide impetus for even better support for students from Jordan.

In particular, the topics of racism experiences and mental health of Muslim and Muslim students as well as the challenges faced by young Jordanians during the transition from school to study were the focus.

In addition to the substantive discussions, the Guided tour of Magdeburg's “Green Citadel” and dinner together contribute to an open, friendly atmosphere.
