Mahmoud AlJnini began his academic career at the German-Jordanian University, where he studied mechanical engineering. As part of the mandatory year in Germany, he completed an internship at Used German Machines in Magdeburg. After successfully completing his studies at GJU, Mahmoud moved back to Germany to complete a master's degree in “Business Administration” at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.

During his time at GJU, Mahmoud got to know the challenges faced by young people who encounter new circumstances in a foreign country and have to find their way there. This formative experience inspired him to found CASA Consultancy. With his start-up, he is pursuing the goal of making it easier for international students from all over the world to get started and integrate in Germany.

With CASA Consultancy, Mahmoud and his two colleagues offer international students a comprehensive range of services. The advice and assistance in preparing for talks with the embassies, for example with regard to visa issues, are particularly appreciated. Once students have overcome this hurdle, assistance with finding accommodation, cultural training, information about various health insurance companies and much more will follow.

According to Mahmoud, his work with international students not only entails many enriching encounters, but also a variety of innovative ideas. After all, students from all over the world not only bring valuable intercultural skills, but also the opportunity to establish a global network — an enriching experience for both sides.
